Critical Illness Myopathy-Creating Effective Documentation for Supporting this Diagnosis

Critical illness myopathy is a relatively recent diagnosis that has become a hot button topic for denied claims in the acute hospital and in the IRF setting. This session will discuss the clinical presentation and clues to look for to determine whether CIM is an accurate diagnosis or additional information or query is necessary to support it.
